The book of Genesis details the lineage of man from Adam to Noah in
chapter 5. In that lineage the average age of a man at his death was
about 908. One man sticks out of that crowd and that was Enoch.
Enoch lived only 365 years here on the earth. The bible says that he
walked with God all 365 of those years and then he was no more "for
God took him." The name Enoch means "dedicated." This generation of
teens is targetted by every sales executive, song writer, actor, actress, drug dealer, partying friend
and spiritual force of evil in the heavenly realm. We are drawing the line in the sand and choosing
to be dedicated to walk with God 365 days a year, just like Enoch. It's who we are, it's how we
live.
If you are between the 7th and 12th grades in high school we'd love to have you as a part of our
group. Get a notebook, grab a bible, snag a ride and we'll see you at church. Wednesday nights
at 7:00, Sunday mornings at 9:30.
